Alva Noto mastermind and Raster-Noton cohort Carsten Nicolai doesn’t seem to be mellowing with age.  On the contrary, his spectacular live sets have become increasingly visceral and abrasive, reflecting a frequently similar drift in the Raster-Noton catalog.
