Wired Fridays @ Randolph Room Friday November 15th 2013

Wired Fridays is proud to present Traxman, a Chicago native whose music has taken him from humble beginnings all the way to the Cultural Center’s Randolph Room for this Friday’s lunch break. Beginning at 12 noon, Traxman will be playing an hour long set for people of all ages. There’s no cover, so why not splurge on some dancing shoes?

Hailed by some critics as a “juke icon” and others as a daring experimental musician, Traxman has released under the labels Dancemania, Planet Mu Records, Gettophiles, BTB, and Moveltraxx. His sound is what would happen if Kanye West, Three Six Mafia, Barker & Baumecker, and Emika were all locked in a recording studio. If that sounds unlikely to happen, then all we have to say is you’ll believe it when you hear it.

Soulful samples and plenty of beats for footwork and dancing make for a highly anticipated set at this lavish lakefront venue.

The Cultural Center is located at 78 E. Washington St. and Wired Fridays remains a non-alcoholic event.
