Following-up on their excellent Take You On A Trip 7″ debut, the Beyond Luck crew has released a second little record, this time incorporating the talents of fellow Chicago underground musicians Primeridian. Lending even deeper experience to the already diverse assembly, Primeridian brings two extra decades of experience to bear: they lay loose lyrical licks on top of the syrup-thick funk of an untitled posse cut. On the flip, a dense house bounce envelops with constant shifts in mood and atmosphere.
