Tugboat Edits / Nite Owl Diner Release Party Thursday, August 28th 2014

Come to Gramaphone this Thursday for a two-fold release party full of bangers and smooth jazzy edits. Start with a nod to the Tugboat Edits label. The cause for celebration? Their latest release: Tugboat Edits 5. This record is a collaboration between head honcho Tim Zawada and Chrissy, aka Chrissy Murderbot (Nite Owl Diner co-founder.) Italo disco elements abound, but it stays true to the classic house that its supporters know and love. Released less than a month ago, this music has been flying off the shelves. Come discover why on Thursday, and hear sets from Tim Zawada, Chrissy, and the Black Madonna. Free beer and pizza are the cherries on top of the music sundae (on a Thursday).

Also spearheading the party will be Nite Owl Diner. The Black Madonna (Argot, Stripped & Chewed) will entertain us with her latest output under Nite Owl Diner. When you buy it, the vinyl comes with a tri-fold delivery menu–as if the music weren’t enough. It’s already creating a buzz in the community, despite the fact that it has yet to be released. Listen to snippets of it on the webstore.

Enjoy half off all used vinyl in-store and 10% off the above releases. We sincerely hope to see you walk out of the store double fisting it with these two records.
