Spanish label Future Reactions makes its debut on wax with four mellow cuts.

Newcomer Cris J starts things off with sultry male vocal snippets murmuring about Philly atop soft chords and a square bass line. Veterans Rick Wade and Norm Talley also contribute: Wade melds insistent hi hats and jazzy keyboard melodies around a consistent chord and bass loop in “Clizias Theme,” Talley stays understated but drives even harder with rich waveforms in the loopy “Str8 Housin.” Finishing the EP out is Satore, basing his track around a delayed vocal sample and chord riff, returning to a more chill vibe.

This record is worth a spin if you are looking for mixing tools with a deeper texture.
