This 2-Disc LP is Strut Records’ second forage through Chicago’s famed Dance Mania catalog. This time around, Strut focuses their compiling efforts on the likes of Ghetto House. Thirteen tracks give the listener a synoptic view into this hyper-sexualized era of Chicago dance music.

Whether or not you listened to mix tapes in the 90’s, you’ll likely recognize many an iconic track, sample, or break. For those not familiar, there are plenty of minimal, chunky hard-hitters, hand claps and bubbly toms to serve your juking needs.
