Longtime Detroit experimentalist, minimalist, techno producer and co-owner of Docile records, Andy Garcia is far from predictable on this latest 12″.

Decorated in a seasonal orange, this stomping 12″ is heady and heavy on the kick, with splashy acidic flourishes. The feedback-sounding Budahh Pissed grinds and grates, the diced vocal bits in Cut Up and Do In Things take a willfully severe approach to the microhouse pastiche aesthetic.

All of this relents a little bit on the melancholic rock of “Another Luv,” which is still as heavy as the other tracks but layers a New Order bassline and shimmering chords over the unwavering percussion.
