This stealthy Chicago project is a crafty mashup of spoken word, jackin’ house productions, and a swirling nearly plunderphonic sample collage. Edits are catnip for the aggressive disk jockey.
It’s cheeky, and the non-descript stamped-whitelabel presentation plays right into the mystique. Happy face stamp art plays into the post-rave references, while the syncopated jackin’ beets provide a provocation.
It is a spicy concoction aims to rock some parties, hopefully it will.
